We only stayed for 2 nights but this hotel was a great place to stay. The rooms are spacious and clean and the hotel is right on the beach. There's a pool, spa, restaurant and bar but we didn't use any of it because we were out most of the time so I cant comment on them. Location wise, I found it slightly too far from anything. It's a 10 minute taxi ride to Sunny Beach and the same to Old Nessebar. We would usually take the long walk but strolling wasn't allowed in our tight schedule!
Overall, it was a nice stay and I'd stay again if I had more time.
Excellent hotel right on the beach. The service was excellent, and our room had an amazing view. The restaurant is also excellent with reasonable prices. The hotel is within walking distance from the old town, and you can have a nice walk in the evening.
The only thing that needs improvement is the parking situation.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd happily go back.
This a lovely hotel right on the beach. Not as popular with western tourists - which makes it even better! Plenty of sunbeds (with no mad rush to get them) and the beach is just a few yards away. Beautiful views all around - the Black Sea and the old town of Nesebar nearby. The rooms are spotless and come with AC (much needed in August!), a small fridge, hairdryer and TV etc. and are cleaned daily by a very friendly team of cleaners. The room we were in had a majestic view of the sea and pool. The restaurant is very good and inexpensive. All the staff are great from the check-in desk, the waitresses and especially the young guy at the bar, Julien, if I remember correctly and the guy who keeps the pool area spotlessly clean, Diyan. There's no doubt in my mind that I will be heading back to the Aphrodite many times in the future. Just excellent.
Absolutely loved it here. Easy access to the beach, restaurant and room service are great, and the staff are so friendly. Views are gorgeous, easy walk to Old Town.
It was ok as a short stay, but it’s definitely not a 4 star hotel. The location is extremely convenient and the view from the terrace was spectacular, it’s on the beach so you have access at the beach facilities nearby (8 BGN for a sunbed, and the same for an umbrella. It’s also a 15-20 min walk from the Old Nessebar. Although the receptionist was great, the cleaning service not so good, the room wasn’t cleaned (left the room at 11.00 with the cleaning sign on the door), toilet paper was left at door steps. At night when we returned (around midnight), there were leftovers on a plate from someone, on the hallway (I know it’s not ok that people leave their food like that), and the next morning (10.30) the plate was still there. The room was petite, but cute and cosy, the inconvenience was that you could feel the air conditioning all over you, so I caught a cold eventually. There is only one small elevator and it doesn’t have the go up or down option, so it stops at every floor it’s called, getting crowded with people that want to go either way, confused about the whole situation. I don’t think I will return. I don’t get the high rating, I picked the hotel for the rating and I’m contributing for the accuracy.
Fantastic experience! Friendly staff and great breakfast available. My appreciation goes to Vanya and Silvia for making our stay in Nessebar memorable. I’ll definitely return soon!
Hotel Aphrodite Beach Hotel - Nessebar and Perla Apartments - Nessebar are the same hotel!
